We have stayed several times in this hotel. For anyone arriving by train it is super convenient. The bistro restaurant looks a bit ‘down market’ (American 1960s diner) but serves excellent French food at a very reasonable price. The reception staff member was very friendly and speaks excellent English. The room and bathroom have been fully modernised and provide great comfort. We inadvertently left a bottle of shampoo in our room; a staff member telephoned to tell us and offered to send it on. Because of this kind action we have upped our grading from 9 to 10.

Location close to train station and central to the city. Large quad room for 2 of us, large bathroom with excellent shower. Double bed very large and comfortable. Good offering and choice for breakfast. Small lift to all floors. All staff very friendly.

Great location opposite the train and bus station and a short walk from the harbour. The staff were very friendly. No street noise considering being beside the train and bus station

The staff team was really friendly and helpful. I was welcomed and assisted each day to find where I wanted to go and they were knowledgeable and kind. The room was small but clean and perfect for one person travelling alone. A particular plus was the tea/coffee making facilities with a variety of beverages and biscuits.

Extremely handy for the station (it is literally opposite the entrance) and close to everything in the town. Nice staff, very clean room and bathroom with a great shower. Room had everything we needed and more (coffee maker, biscuits & sweets and wireless phone charger). We only stayed for one night between arriving on a boat and taking an early morning train to Paris but I wish we had been able to stay longer because the town and hotel were really nice and the fresh pastries they were cooking at 6:45am smelt amazing.

It is right in the middle of the city centre and easily accessible by car…the rooms are very comfortable and they have really kind staff with amazing breakfast

Friendly people. Our bicycles were safely stored in a locked luggage room. Clean room and bathroom. The room is decorated with very nice modern art. A view on the city. A good bed. In walking distance of the old city. Very good breakfast buffet.

The hotel is very good located, easily accessible and the refurbishment is stylish, however kept the traditional character of the building. The staff is is really kind and helpful. The room was clean and appreciated very much the welcome water, tea/coffee facilites.
